Daypart

Daypart is a term used in scheduling. Dayparting always implies restricting play to certain hours of the day of the week. When a cut or cart is dayparted it will not be available for scheduling outside it's allotment. For example one might not want a very soft song to play any time between 5 AM and 8 PM, so the dayparting could be used to restrict play between those times. --Phil Peters 22:15, 2 April 2008 (CEST)
